I have written for two blogs, one focused on cultural impressions of Russia and travel in general, the other centered around the experiences of eight University of Wisconsin-Madison alumni now spread across the globe.

Eagle and the Bear
Begun in September 2008, this blog has served as a forum during my time abroad, and I've logged posts everywhere from St. Petersburg to Delhi, India. It's allowed me to air my thoughts on Russian politics, write reviews of new Russian films, or just cobble together photo montages and travelogues.

University and State
This blog has featured everything from hot button-issue political commentary to cityscape photos to my rants about Russian television. Contributors include a number of current and former so-called "campus elites" and generally bright people, including best-known Madison blogger the Critical Badger.
